At Accent Building Restoration (ABR), we believe success comes with responsibility. Our mission has always been about relationships — with our customers, our employees, our partners, and the communities we serve. We talk often about a “US vs. I” mentality, and that belief doesn’t stop at the job site. It extends into the way we give back.
We’ve been fortunate to grow, to serve great customers across the country, and to build a strong team. Because of that, we believe it’s our responsibility to invest in people, strengthen communities, and support organizations that are making a real difference.
Giving back isn’t something we do for recognition. It’s something we do because it’s the right thing to do.
And it reflects the kind of company we work hard to be — one built on stewardship, long-term thinking, and a commitment to doing things the right way.
In 2020, our CEO lost his home in the Santiam Canyon wildfire.
In the middle of that experience — the uncertainty, the loss, and the disruption — he witnessed something that left a lasting impact. He saw people helping people. Neighbors supporting neighbors. Strangers stepping in without being asked. Businesses and organizations coming together simply because others were in need.
No one was keeping score.
No one was looking for recognition.
People just showed up.
That experience reinforced something important: we all depend on each other more than we sometimes realize. It shaped how we think about leadership and stewardship at ABR. Our success isn’t just ours to keep — it’s an opportunity to help others, strengthen communities, and show up when it matters.
The generosity he experienced during that time continues to influence our culture and our commitment to giving back today.

At ABR, we talk often about ownership mentality.
Ownership means thinking long-term. It means taking responsibility for what we’ve been given. And it means using our success to make a positive impact wherever we can.
The same values that drive how we give back — stewardship, accountability, and long-term commitment — are the same values that guide how we serve our customers.
We believe strong culture leads to strong teams. Strong teams deliver consistent results. And consistent results build lasting partnerships.
Giving back isn’t separate from our business.
It’s part of who we are.
It’s part of our culture.
It’s part of our commitment to building something that lasts — for our customers, our people, and the communities we serve.
Success isn’t measured by the buildings we restore, but by the lives and communities we help strengthen
